Tom is a British/Japanese film, TV, and commercial producer born in Tokyo and raised in the UK. With a rich and diverse international upbringing, he spent his formative years in the UK and Europe, attending a military school. His exposure to different cultures in Asia, Western, and Eastern Europe has given him a unique ability to connect and collaborate across diverse cultural landscapes. At just 16, Tom demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit by starting his own company, which he later entrusted to his contacts as he pursued a five-year career in stage acting.
At 17, Tom was invited to deliver a TEDx talk, showcasing his early insights and experiences, and highlighting his potential as a thought leader. During his time in theater, he was a regular performer at the National Theater of Tokyo and toured the country with his shows, honing his craft and deepening his understanding of performance arts.
By the age of 27, Tom had built an impressive portfolio, producing numerous commercials and serving as a key crew member on acclaimed TV shows like “Tokyo Vice” and “Monarch.” His work includes high-profile commercials for clients such as Nike, Adidas, L’Officiel, ASICS, Air Canada, Mizuno, Prada, Four Seasons, Amex, and many more. His extensive time as a freelancer has allowed him to work with a wide array of companies and clients, giving him deep insight into the core elements of successful productions. Tom is also currently producing a documentary in Ukraine, a country with which he has deep family connections, highlighting his personal and professional ties to the region.
